 Welcome
to the Family Nurturing Center of Massachusetts (FNC) and thank
you for your interest.
The FNC is a unique learning organization that has been called
"small, but mighty" by many who know us. We actively engage
diverse groups of people and organizations in a broad range of activities,
such as:
- Working with health centers to start nurturing programs for
expectant parents
- Supporting teen parents in learning how to care for themselves
and their children
- Training community-based groups and others on issues that affect
family well-being
- Using books to promote literacy through home visits to families
with newborns
- Organizing neighborhood playgroups and support groups for parents
and their young children
- Bringing dads together to support each other in becoming more
nurturing fathers
- Involving families with children of all ages in nurturing activities
and programs that promote strong communication and healthy families
 We
work with housing communities, health centers, schools, community
based organizations, child care programs, senior programs, volunteer
groups, faith-based organizations, private and public institutions
and others to achieve our mission. We welcome you to read on to

Involved in creating a more nurturing Massachusetts for all kinds
