Rodman
Ride for Kids
The Rodman Ride for Kids is an umbrella matching gift charity that raises funds for at-risk children in Massachusetts. Since its inception in 1991, the Ride for Kids has raised over $44 million.
The Ride for Kids and its beneficiary agencies fundraise year-round, culminating with The Ride event, a 25, 50, or 100-mile non-competitive cycling tour, each fall.
The Family Nurturing Center is thrilled to be one of The Ride's beneficiaries. FNC Staff and Board work very hard at making this an event well worth your participation.
Each
Each Rider commits to raising $1,000, and FNC helps make that easy. We can help with online donation opportunities, sample letters, and promotional materials. In addition, each rider will receive a FNC cycling shirt!
Whether you'd like to volunteer at the hospitality tent or get on your bike and pedal to support children in need, the FNC's Ride Team has a place for you. You can even do a "Virtual Ride" - climb on a stationary bike or walk 10 miles during the summer and ask friends and family to sponsor you! Be creative - there are no limits to how you can support Team FNC.
If you're not available on Ride Day but you'd still like to support FNC, please make a tax-deductible
donation on line or mail a check made out to Rodman Ride/FNC to:
Family Nurturing Center
Attn: Ride for Kids
200 Bowdoin Street
Dorchester, MA 02122
And what's even better, your donation will be matched at 10%!
Once you register as a rider on TEAM FNC, you'll be invited to join team training rides and events so you can meet others who believe in the power of nurturing children and families. We hope to see you on Saturday, September 25, 2010!
